Mary and her daughter Mae spent years working side by side, choosing styles, materials and details they would genuinely want to carry themselves.

What they wanted was simple: well-made leather bags women could reach for year after year — not just for one season.

2. What We Believe In

3. A New Chapter

After years of working together, Mary has decided that at 74, it’s time to slow down and enjoy retirement.

Mae will continue Mary & Mae’s Leather, but continuing alone means the collection can no longer stay as large as it was when there were two of us working side by side.

That’s why we’re currently clearing part of our existing collection before moving forward with a smaller, more carefully focused selection of leather bags.
